Cold Pressed Coconut Oil
Single ingredientcold-pressed in-housefood grade
Cold pressed coconut oil is not the same as the refined, bleached, deodorised coconut oil that fills most supermarket shelves. Refining removes the natural lauric acid content, the medium chain fatty acids, and the faint scent of fresh coconut that makes it recognisable. What remains is a neutral oil that is cheaper to produce and significantly less effective.
This is one ingredient — coconut — pressed without heat, without solvents, without any refining. It retains everything the coconut had. For hair, body, and cooking.
Full lauric acid content retained — the most studied fatty acid in coconut oil
Medium chain fatty acids penetrate the hair shaft rather than coating it
Deep conditioning for very dry or coarse hair
Effective body moisturiser for extremely dry areas
Food grade — full flavour and nutritional profile for cooking
No additives, no refining, no bleaching, no deodorising
Naturally solid below 24°C — liquefies gently with warmth

Why We Created This Product
We press coconut oil in-house because it is the base that many of our customers come back to after years of using refined versions and wondering why it stopped doing what they remembered it doing.
The answer is almost always that they switched from cold pressed to refined at some point — often without realising it — and the refined version has a fraction of the active compound profile of the original. Cold pressed coconut oil smells like coconut because the volatile compounds that carry the scent are still there. Refined coconut oil is neutral because those compounds have been removed.
We make this available as a standalone product because the quality difference is real and because some customers want the oil without the herb infusion — just the base, exactly as it comes out of the press.
